Saturday, Jan. 30 is the date for the Milwaukee Art Museum's green fair. The event will feature green vendors and non profits, gallery talks and artist demos, including Hongtao Zhou, who will be building furniture out of ice and snow on the museum's east lawn.
The green marketplace will feature environmentally friendly products from companies and organizations such as: Growing Power, Urban Ecology Center, Future Green, Rishi Tea, Outpost Natural Foods, Olive Fine Organic Living, Chartreuse. The Conscious Bath Company, Lillies, Rain Tree Gear, Fair Trade For All, Shaklee/Green Giraffe, and Rebel Green.
There are some familiar names in there, but some newcomers, too. Looks like a fun time, and valuable shop local/learn something opportunity.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
