We recently blogged and printed stories about the Badger School project in Madison - an abandoned property that is being restored for urban agriculture by The Center for Resilient Cities in concert with Community Groundworks and Growing Power.
And now the Madison School Board is prepping for a vote on a charter school, Badger Rock, to sit on the grounds. The vote is set for January 11.
"The school curriculum would focus on environmental sustainability, with an innovative program for urban agriculture, alternative energy and project based learning," according to Capital Times reporter Susan Troller.
