The Wisconsin State Journal reports that the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is debating legalizing the sale of raw milk. A panel will be convened, made up of dairy industry reps, raw milk advocates and public health officials.
The sale of unpasteurized milk is prohibited right now due to concern over bacterial infections, but that doesn't stop all raw milk proponents from getting it from farmers.
