We wrote about organic milk in September's Exchange issue, and published the article at Third Coast Digest. Now The Atlantic visits the topic: is your organic milk truly organic? Are you buying what you think you are buying? Did the milk you drink come from Daisy, who spent her afternoon frolicking in the sunshine, munching on plentiful grass? Or did it come from a 10,000-cow dairy production facility out west with a patch of hay-strewn dirt that passes for "pasture"? Buyer beware, indeed.
We think this topic is worth revisiting until it's no longer an issue.
