We were overjoyed to see so many people at Lakefront Brewery Sunday afternoon for Our Milwaukee's benefit for Haiti. Initial reports say more than $13,000 was raised for two groups doing good work in the earthquake-ravaged country: Youth Haiti and Friends of Orphans. The event featured music, face painting for kids, a silent auction, raffles, food and - of course - Lakefront's wonderful beverages.
The stream of visitors was steady all afternoon during our visit and the hall was buzzing with a lovely vibe. A big thank you to the folks at Our Milwaukee for their speedy work in putting this together. Outpost was grateful to be a part of it all!
