During a recent chat with a couple transplanted here from Seattle, we were interested to hear the impression Milwaukee gives to newcomers. "It's a city that is not outwardly beautiful, but beautiful on the inside," they said, "in the neighborhoods and local businesses... that's where you find the beauty of Milwaukee."
It's so good to hear that our vibrant local businesses are making such a good case for our fair city. We'd like to give a little nod to a local company that not only makes cool stuff, but does good for the planet and the community.
The company is thINK Conscious Apparel, and we love them because they sell organic clothing and give a percentage of all proceeds to the Milwaukee Community Service Corps to support local youth and their commitment to Milwaukee water cleanup initiatives.
Right now, thINK is offering $10 off mens organic bamboo tees. Just one more reason to support a local business.

Nice find with these two from Seattle. I am glad they like the Mil so far.
